Boconnoc

Boconnoc was lit up again for our Christmas party; fires and candles were glowing through the windows as guests approached. It is a tribute to the Cornish that even those from the far West were not daunted by the weather or put off by forecasts of worse to come; it was lovely to see everyone and so very kind of Elizabeth and Anthony Fortescue to invite us back to Boconnoc.

We are grateful to Savills for their support and for all the help on the evening; also we must thank Westcountry Photographers, who kindly allowed us to use their photographs of the evening. There was fierce competition for the 'must have' Christmas table decorations created by Ally Bolitho, which were again available by silent auction and there were some extremely happy people who were the lucky raffle winners. We again managed to raise in excess of £6,000 for the charity, but most of all we had another great start to the Christmas season.
